Default Dyno results, Cam+stock manifolds c6 z

Customer Requested to have a car with a mild boost in performance, he wanted to have a little lope, but it to still pass smog, in addition he wanted reliabilty because he does road course the car and do alot of high speed roll racing....

Car: 08 C6 z06

Mods: Halltech Air intake, CMS Custom grind camshaft package (mild), WCCH fixed up heads (bronze guides, stainless exhaust valves, comp valve job, no porting at all), cometic .040" head gasket, and straight piped rear section exhaust.

results, i am impressed, it took me a few days to really come up with anf decide upon a camshaft for this particular combination... it has a nice little lope, but driveablity is like stock, no joke!

Very impressive combo. Congrats for bringing an outside the box combo to the board. Love to see stealthy combos work so well.

Nice job

What could be done to carry the power a little further......say peak at about 6800 and still keep good driveability?

the intake manifold will limit the power peak generally to 6400-6600 max.... you can likely get it to carry flatter to 7k with an addition of headers, or a larger cam, but that wasnt the premise of this build and defeats the purpose

OOOHHH ok, I figured he had headers. That's extremely good for no headers.

Headers and a fast 102 and it would really be awesome.

yeah, but the manifolds on the ls7 and ls9 engines is a like a header and very well designed... leagues ahead of a basic cast iron manifold
