243 LS6 Heads w/F13 Cam??

Default 243 LS6 Heads w/F13 Cam??

MOds in my sig along with a F13 cam and low miles set of LS6 243 Heads.....What kind of numbers am I potentially looking at. Thanks!!

around 380-390rwhp converter unlocked with a ls6 intake

if you still have the stock intake, knock 15-20rwhp off that IMO

Hmmm, sounds low...was close to 4xxwhp before the heads and yea...still stock intake. Sure hope the heads net me more than 10whp lol. Then again if the car feels more alive I could care less about a number. I am hoping the cam and selection of heads do wonders working together!

That's a great cam. Should be close to 400 rwhp.

No offense intended, but 400rwhp on an unlocked big stall with a ls1 intake, stock heads, and mid size cam sounds like a slightly happy dyno to me. Ran it at Mokan before?

You didn't say the 243s were ported so don't expect more than 15-20rwhp over stock heads if they're not worked over. Milling, valve job, or mild porting would increase that gain.

Havn't had a chance to get to Mokan yet, looking forward to it though. Working with Ben Freeman on getting the tune straight at the moment, didn't get much further than getting the idle straight before he noticed a bank pulling voltage meaning I needed to replace an o2 sensor before WOT tune. So getting that taken care of this week so we can continue.

After that I plan on going to up Republic for a day and pay for a few pulls on the dyno to see where shes at. Iv done the big cam, big power builds before but this time I don't care if it makes 350rwhp.....I want to FEEL it...Tq monster is what I'm after here.

I hear ya there. Dyno numbers don't mean anything to me really. Just want it to be fun and run decent at the track.

Same cam, ported 243's, LS6 intake and stock rear & gear made 440/409 thru an M6. Sounds like ~400whp is about there thru a big stall.
