Nice. Is one run with cutout open and other with cutout closed?

Lol. That's got to be a record. Would love to see some trap speed to back it up.

I wonder if the dyno is wrong lol. He said he loaded the dyno and took off the air box lid to get the 570. With a fast toys 104 lid and chrs1313 sealed in the front it dynod 555 then removed the lid and made the 570. Bluecat in Kentucky tuned it at Kentucky speed.

I saw in another thread of yours that you dynod like 530ish? And you trapped 101 in the 1/8th with a good bit of weight reduction? I made 571/535 and trap nearly 103 with hardly any weight reduction and added a LSX block, heavy ARB, etc.

No doubt your car runs awesome, just don't know about 570 from a 408 with less than 12:1 compression and a hyd roller.

I trap 102 at 3000 feet. It made 523/487 before but it had a couple lifters collapsed which I assumed was the reason it went from 523 to 535. I have quite a bit of weight reduction to. Aftermarket k member etc but it also has a mild steel 6 point in it. I've never weighed it. It just doesn't make sense to me for it to make 555 let alone 570.

No clue I didn't even know they had a dyno until a couple monthes ago. I'm going to the track on the 2nd to see what it traps now. At 3000 feet it ran 6.91 at 102 on a 1.59 4000 launch and 10.74 at 129. I've got the limiter cranked to 7200 so I can come through the traps I wonder if going to 410s would pick it up since I'm basically just floating at the end

Great results. Just take her to the track & see how she does. That'll tell you if the dyno is correct. I've made over 670 flywheel horsepower with PRC 247s and a 251/259. I think that'd make 540-550rwhp in a auto car.

Agreed very nice results!! I've got one of your 418 longblocks with the Prc 247s and its laying down 540/505 through a gen 1 cts-v drivetrain. Not sure how much flywheel hp that would be now after all the mods. Bone stock my car had a 19% drive train loss. cam is a bit smaller also in mine

Cool to see you somewhat close, I live up in Huntington, WV. Be sweet to see your car sometime. Going to a track rental in Owingsville ky next weekend to see what mine will do, its one of bluecats buddy's who rented it. If you talking about loading on the dyno then thats what simulates a load on the car for better tuning in my opinion.

Lol yeah during school Huntington is crawling with people bc Marshall. If you're ever up this way, usually abunch hang out at a Marshall parking lot on 3rd ave beside there engineering building. Might see you in Mexico sometime also if you go to the one down that way in ky.
