Default 2004 GTO M6 Procharged!

Well here is my first dyno session with the first production Procharger GTO system (7 PSI). I am VERY impressed to say the least!! I would like everyones input on how to possibly fix the trailing A/F at the end, I'm guessing the 38lbs injectors that came with the kit are probably maxed, followed by the fuel pump You guys think 60lbs will do the trick? hehe

It was, I moved the rev limiter to 6500 now but I still don't have the fuel system to run it that high Need to work that out first.

Nice numbers, I say you get some 6.0 ported heads and a nice sized cam and you should be at the door of 500rwhp if not more with a little extra boost.

Nope 100% stock car, just with the Procharger. I need to get some good pics of the system overall I've got some install pics but those are for my Editorial so I cant really post them I've got some long tubes and an exhaust system here in boxes, that coupled with a tad more boost I'm looking for 500 RWHP hopefully, just need the fuel to support it.

Hey, Chris, Tom K here. A link you might like and some assumptions for a general answer. 500 whp/.8 = 625 chp. bsfc @ .55 lb/hp for FI. Fuel rail pressure 57psi with the boost all in. Says 46.9 lb/hr static @ 43 psi test pressure is needed (80% duty cycle). I got all this at:
http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm#WORKSHEET

BTW, 625 chp at .55 bsfc = 207 liters/hr for the pump. HTH. Anyone else?

Just thought I'd add - 444whp/.85 drivetrain efficiency = 522 chp. With .55 bsfc that needs 175 lph supply and 38 lb/hr injectors at about 85% duty cycle. So, you're probably right about the fuel. Also, the injectors flow more with increased pressure, but only add as the square root of the psi increase. And the rule-of-thumb limit for injector fuel pressure is about 65 psi.

Nice numbers. Definitely looks a little lean to me though.

be careful mang, my ringland let go at 8 lbs and I had a good tune. I'd keep it at 7 psi. Unless you have money to build the bottom end laying around.

Eh I'm not real worried about the bottom end, if it gets away from me I'll just put a 389 or a 421 in it or something I think I'll be ok at around 8 psi with headers and such we'll see
