Default Will tires affect dyno results/tuning?

My eagle F1's have ok tread on them i guess, with this cold weather they break loose upwards of 30mph so im afraid itll affect my dyno numbers and tune when my headers are installed this spring.

the tires will only make a difference if your tire pressure is low.....
I lost 10 hp with low tire pressure and immediately gained it back once aired up

You'll be fine. You'll be dynoing in 3rd gear from ~ 3k RPMs and up. You won't have any traction problems.

Huh I think he will be dynoing in fourth as that is 1:1. That is where every 6spd car I have ever dynoed was done. You sure you weren't talking about a auto?

Yes I was talking about an auto....seeing as how his car IS an auto, that would seem appropriate.

Most good dyno shops (from what I've seen) have the little gripper things on it... I dyno'd my car on old Perelli P-zero's with about.. 1/2 / 32 left... lol. It was near no traction at all and I didnt have any problems. Just make sure the moron dyno-ing it knows what he's doing and doesnt hit the gas WOT at 70 and assume it will stay in 3rd, cuz it'll kick into second and suprised him when he hits redline in about 1/2 a second. NOT THAT THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME!~?!~.. pos.

Anyways, don't worry about your tires, just make sure they have the right amount of air in them and you'll be fine.

Between the car being strapped down and the traction on the roller, you won't have an issue....

well you wont be spining it up hard till 60-70mph anyway plus you need ALOT of power to spin while on the rollers like close to if not more than 1000hp and tons of torque
