408ci w/ AFR heads.... approx HP? Guess?
Today the 408 short block finally came in. Tomorrow it'll get put on a stand and topped off with AFR 205 heads that've been opened up for the larger bore, and milled .08" or so. Cam specs 244/248 .612/.615 115lsa. It'll run an LS6 intake for now, stock TB, 1 3/4" long tube headers, 42# injectors, 255LPH fuel pump, etc. The car is an AUTO currently with 3.23 rear gears.
Any guesses as to the power this will be making?
I just can't wait til it's done....

C/R will end up being around 10.2:1 or so... and yes, I have the ASP underdrive pulley. PRC dual springs, Comp 850 lifters, etc etc. I realize the LS6 intake & stock TB aren't exactly ideal for moving tons of air into the motor, but I'm flat out of money to spend on this at the moment. This spring will be a different story, though.

Any guesses :
Any guesses :
With the LS6 manifold and stock ported throttle body it produced only 470 RWHP at 5600 RPM, but starved for air above that.
FAST 90 mm and TB opened it to 510-515 @ 6500 after a lot of tuning.
We can probeably get more if we add octance booster and tre-tune but we run on pump gas for now.
