I'm not saying it is the rockers, but as easy as they are to swap out, I'd give it a shot. Espeacially since it is something that dosen't cost anything. It seems as if your throwing money in the wind on parts that this place is telling you to swap and most of it has nothing to do with the problem at hand. From what I've read, the Crane springs have to be shimmed for adequate pressures, and you could be on the verge of floating or coil bind with the 1.8's.

i dont want to seem like a stick in the mud but...ive been folowin this story from the begining...and i would 1 take it to a diferend shop..yes i know you have invested alot of $$ in that shop but if they where that loyal to you as a customer then they would have pulled the motor a while ago..for that much money it seems it would have been cheaper...but if you where to pull the heads i would go with some cheap o ported set like the ones LG motorsports are sellin 900 buck and no more problems..but i thought the problem was the headers rubbing the k-member anyways?
just my .02 dont bash me to hard..

You know guys, there was a noticeable vibration after the ZO6 clutch install, which by the way is is the same time we did the Crane install. I have had issues with the pedal being eratic. Very slow return, sticked slightly at the floor and then would pop out, and now consistently very intense vibrations under acceleration when you push the clutch in about inch or so. Also feel it through the chasiss.
In searching the forum, many with these exact issues said that they lost a spring in the clutch or the tranny input shaft was bent.
Could this be the problem? And nothing to do with the valve train? I think it's possible that one of these two issues would most certainly toss something to those knock sensors.

Two issues with the clutch. First, if its sticking to the floor, its likely new clutch time. This is a big issue on Vettes. Second, installation and trasfer of weights is also a big discussion topic. I think the consensus is now to match balance the original.
If you have a bad vibration, at what RPM does it come in? You basically have a system resonance, and if it is the same as the knock sensors, this sounds like the most logical place to look for your problem. If you decide that a clutch is necessary, find a new shop!!!!!
Many have been having success with the LS2 flywheel/LS7 clutch setup.

Mark,
Balancing the clutch is a serious issue with Vettes. Take a trip over to the Corvetteforum and do a search for background information. Did they transfer the weights? Do you have the old parts so you can retrieve the weights?
I hope they didn't slap in a clutch and can the old parts, or this will be difficult to solve. I would bother with any tuning or anything else on the motor until you solve this clutch vibration issue. You need to find a good clutch specialist that knows how to balance. My Corvette service manual has a lot on vibration and detection. A good Corvette service center may have the equipment in my manual to detect what is going on. Depending on how bad this is, it may be the source of a lot of your problems. The roller rockers and Crane springs on your cam will go much much higher in RPM before there are any issues, the driveline sounds like the place to start in my opinion.
Geezzz, they are a sponsor here, you would think they would be all over this helping out!!!!!!!!!!!!
