Default MS3/PRC LS6 heads Dyno Number/ Thanks Slowhawk/Don/Dez Racing/TSP

Here is the combo, TSP MS3, PRC LS6 heads, underdrive pully, fast/ls2 tb, halltec intake, 1 3/4 headers, kooks x-pipe, B&B mufflers. I'm happy with the numbers let me know what you think.

Just wanted to say thanks to the guys at TSP and Dez Racing for all the parts, tech support, and tuning. I'm very happy with the numbers, i was hoping for 435/390 but we did a little better. The dyno is not a high reading dyno and the numbers are corrected. Enjoy

Steve

Says SAE in the corner, that means corrected. Don doesn't do the uncorrected #'s. Uncorrected yu probably would have been 10-20hp higher.

Thumbs up

Great power! Nice torque as well. Another example of the consistently high numbers being generated by these BUDGET heads! Congrats....

I think if i would have gone with the 1 7/8 headers and bullets i would probally gain 7-10hp. Don had mentioned that if i milled the heads some i would probally have gotten 15-20hp over my current combo, but i want to keep everything a little on the safe side. I'm quite please with the the power for the combo that i have and i'll be adding a bottle soon.

As far as the track goes i'll probally take it at least once but not expecting anything great, just to have a little fun.

Your car made more TQ than mine, what were you expecting? I figure with the specs of the MS3 390-400 would be in the ball park.

I dont think anyone has milled these heads yet. Almost every single set of results has been the stock valves and compression setup. I took the same approach with mine except also utilized a much smaller cam. It drives great and STILL makes the number.

I was very impressed with the setup.Big Cam and budget heads work out great. As you can see the Cam peaks pretty high and we ran alot of timing with no KR. This just indicates this setup could use alot more compression which would really up the #'s for people looking for the most HP.

I was talking about my new ms3 setup. Not the old one in the sig. TSP is working on it though. Great guys with great customer service.

I had mine milled down 0.17". Jon at TSP said it was about the most I could have them milled before PTVC became an issue. It gave me an effective SCR of ~11-1.

Those results look really really good. I'm 99% sure that these will be the heads I install on my TA.

I just have one question. Where is WS6FirebirdTA00 and his TSP bashing on this thread? Maybe he hasn't seen this thread yet!!
