Dynoed my 408ci M6 swap
I finally did the swap on my 02SS from the A4 TCI 3500 to M6 Spec S3+.Went to dyno it today I just got back, well here are the results, you all judge:Stock fast 90 unported,no pulley,no thermostat if that matters.Engine temp at 200-210.Run conditions were 97.42F,29.50in-Hg,SAE 1.03.Max timing was at 27 degrees, max TQ timing at 25degrees,AFR at 13.00
RPM HP TQ
3500 280 420
3750 300 420
4000 320 420
4250 340 425
4500 375 438
4750 415 454
5000 435 450
5250 445 445
5500 455 435
5750 460 420
6000 464 410
6250 465 390
Would a smaller cam on 110LSA improve TQ and keep HP?

You didn't gain any hp switching from your auto setup? In a previous thread you were able to pull 447/410 unlocked. I thought it would have registered a bit more on the dyno.
Are you still running a 3.23 rear gear?

When I dynoed with the A4 we did indeed lock it and it stayed the same, yes Im still running the 3.23 gear, then again it was alot cooler last time I dynoed.Im thinking the cam is too big for the setup or the heads are to small.I just wanted the heavy sound of a camshaft to begin with but oh well,Im thinking of switching to a 238/244 629/639 110LSA see if that helps any.Im trying to get as much as DCR as possible.I think the TQ is great as far as being flat, but the HP aint there, any ideas??

Marine,, your car is running strong. Don`t worry about the numbers. Your first trip to the track you pulled the 11.0 That ain`t bad at all. You still have more in her Ibet!! Don`t let numbers get you down. It`s how she runs is what counts. My A4 would run against any 530rwhp 6sp. Wish you would have kept the A4. Where a dieing breed, lol! Let us know how it goes!!
Change your pulley, lid and all etc to the biggest. Get more flow for that bad boy! What headers you got? Don`t get rid of the cam I wish I would have went bigger now, lol! Love this thing!!

With your TQ peaking above 4k, you need to get rid of those 3.23's and get some 4.11's That's gonna make a world of difference in how it runs, not gonna make your numbers any better but who cares... A dyno is nothing but a tuning tool anyways, get it to the track and see how it does.

The only other mods I have in mine for now is the underdrive pulley, thermostat, and port the fast intake.I already have the 9" ready to go with 3.73 gears,I've just been lazy and working on customers cars I hardly have time to put it on.Iv tried everything when I went to the dyno it was real fat like 10.8 11.0 leaned her back up to 13.00 power pick up evrywhere.I added more fuel in the low end to see if the TQ will bark and it did a liitle.Tried all diffrent timimg settings just woudnt change.Car feels so much better know as far as drivability.Ill probably go out to the track in 3 weeks with my 9",if I ever get it on,lol.IM going to make a couple N/A runs then the TNT 200 see what it does.

I think I found a cam that might give me more torque under the curve and hold HP up top.I dont know just wondering, the SI7 cam 238/244 110LSA with more lift like .639/642.Just wondering how this would compare with the TXGiant cam I have.

Is the car still on the stock rev limiter? If it is...is it tuned any? Why are you only spinning it up to 6250...That cam should peak around 6500 or higher even I would think...
