Default 12's in my future?

I ran a 13.3@106 with a 2.0 60ft time. Since then I added SLP smooth bellows and tubular rear lower control arms. If I got some new tires, just regular Z rated not drag radials, Do you think I could hit a 12.9 or better?

The 13.3@106 was done with some crapy almost bald tires?

thanks, jason

i noticed you were using 87 octane in your ls1 for the dyno...bad idea. makes the car run terrible. i hope you dont use it all the time. im surpised you havent got an SES light yet. if you use 93 you should notice a diffrence in the way the engine feels. its worth the extra cost. and its really only a couple bucks more to fill up a tank the size of an ls1.

and 12s are possible with a lower 60' time. ive heard that every .1 off your 60' thats .2 off the 1/4 mile. so pull a 1.8 60' and your golden. good luck.

well I do have a ses light on. I had Autozone check it and they said it was a O2 sensor im dont remember which one. I do un 87 cuz money has been extreamly tight. But I can run 93 now and Ill see if that helps the ses light.

I did 316 hp on 93 octane with my mods minus SLP smooth bellows.

I then did 314 on 87 octane with my mods plus SLP smooth bellows.

93 octane from now on

thanks

you will have to get the light cleared by advance t see if thats the problem. if it comes back with the same code. the youll need to change yous O2s. change both sides! even if only one is bad. youll be sorry if you dont.

You can also clear the codes yourself and it would be better to do it thisway as well because your computer needs to relearn your fuel stuff on the 93 octane....well it doesn't need to but every little bit helps... turn the key to on and pull your pcm bat fuse pcm ign fuse under the hood.pullt hem for five minutes or so and then turn the key off and put them back in and then start it and you should be good to go..

I don't know how much the bellows helps, if at all. I DO think that a stall and good tires would let you see a 12.x or close.
