Any 500+ street legal daily drivers with cats?
Just wondering if anyone putting out 500+ rwhp is going through a high flow catted y like I'm going to be running. I just think it's gonna be pretty hard getting into the low 500's for me while still being able to pass emissions (cats + not able to dump the exhaust + no cutouts for visual inspection) and was wondering if anyone else has done it in a car that is a REAL daily driver.

I have the FLP's and I switch out the cats to the ory when I go to get it tested. This is what I will do when I get back and push my ride to over 500 hp also. Just my .02

Going to be tough to pass emissions NA, need too much overlap to make that much power.
It was bad enough getting mine to pass with a XE 224 236 in a 396. A power adder is almost a necessity to make power and be emissions legal.
Almost a mute point here as anything newer than 1998 has to be plugged in to mto computer so they can check tune mileage etc when they do e test, am I ever glad I built a 1996 and left the 2002 stock.

Yea, well as soon as I fail I'm gonna go the $500 waiver route. They're gonna tell me I need to redo a lot of things in the exhaust, put the egr back in, etc etc. It will certainly cost more than $500 and I'll "get it fixed" at a shop and have them write me a waiver

His setup is a bit more tame than mine, with the main difference of him still being stock cubes. I'm pretty sure I'll lose a decent amount through cats. It will most likely be negligible on the street though, assuming I hit at least high 400's rwhp.
