Default dyno'd finally

hey guys. i finally dynoed my car this weekend. and of all places, it was at a corvette dyno day. i wasnt the happiest with what i put down, but im still untuned, so i guess it will do. temp. was right at 98.7 and the humidity was around 50-60%. i put 338hp and 348tq with my a/f ratio being fucked up. the computer was saying it was at 18.0. i had the cutouts open though so the wideband couldnt read it accuratley. im going back tomorrow to get the tuning done though with my cutouts closed to get the a/f right. i dont have a graph yet cause im getting it tuned tomorrow so i didnt think to ask for a print out. i was definetly the loudest one there though. everyone had to stand outside the garage when i was up there. we'll see what the outcome is tomorrow when everything is done. thanx.

thats about right for your setup. get an ls6 intake and port the tb, and some under drive pulleys and you will be over 350hp. for just bolt ons, thats pretty good.

I will agree thats about right for the set-up. Get the air-fuel right and you may pick up a little bit.

well i just got the car tuned yesterday. i was able to squeeze out 352hp and 360tq. not too bad considering its only headers and a lid, i guess? ed hutchins at Automotive Technology Inc. did a great job. one thing i was really impressed with was my power down low. i was able to gain at 3k rpms an extra 32hp and 16tq! i can feel a huge difference throughout the whole powerband. feels like a whole new car.

Default real #

Aint braggin or nuthin but the #s before we started tuning it were 333 hp and 339 tq. After the initial tune it picked up 5 hp but we didnt have enuff time due to the volume of cars we were trying to run thru, and the a/f wasnt registering correctly due to the cutouts. Just wanted to clarify the increase was about 19 hp on the top side and pretty much thru the entire rpm band. Results will be posted shortly, we're woking on a page on our site devoted to dyno and tuning results.www.hpracecraft.com
PS This is with an a/f of 13:1 and timing at a conservative 31 deg. at WOT

ive got some 315 Nitto 555R Drag Radials on 17's for the street. im ordering axles for the 17's cause they are for stock studs. my 15's are for 5/8"studs so i have different axles for them. i know its complicated.
