My Numbers High???
Ive been thinking about this for a while guys..I feel like my numbers are TOO high for my mods..Heres my mod list.
Pacesetter Longtubes and ORY
3" FlowTech Cutout which was closed
Borla Exhaust which had NO plate in it
Built 6 speed
Whisper Lid
SLP Ram Air
ASP Underdrive Pulley
EGR Delete
233/239 .595/.605 on a 112LSA custom ground cam.
This is on a 125K mile motor..and im on stock gears too..and it put down 409rwhp and 364rwtq on a Mustang Dyno..Doesnt that seem like a lot for a stock intake, stock unported heads, and a stock TB?

it does seem high...I have the same cam except with way more lift, plus an ls6 intake and a ported TB and only made 370 rwhp. Granted the 98 heads flow the worst of all the years the 99's arent that much better so maybe those wer uncorrected numbers? Either way its more how the car feels and runs at the track than dyno numbers IMO.

go to the track and see. i use a mustang dyno and on one of my first setups i had speed inc st2 heads,224/228 cam,asp pulley,ls6 intake, mac headers w/offroads,,m6 w/12bolt and 4.11's. i made 370hp & 355tq. my car ran 11.7's @ 116-117 at that time. on a dynojet with the same set up i made 395hp 380tq. your #'s seem way off for a mustang dyno. go to the track w/some good tires and tell us how it does, then you'll know if your #'s are on or the dyno your on gives out high #'s. now on the same dyno i make 463hp 414tq and run 10's.

That's not too crazy. Definitely on the higher end for the mods you have, especially with the LS1 intake. With a 228/222 114LSA I made 400.1 RWHP 368 RWTQ on a Mustang dyno through a 12 bolt with 4.11s. I guess you got a good tune. Take it to the track and see how it does.

The stock gear and rear are going to give you higher numbers. Mine just did 389/374 on a mustang dyno with 4.56 gears, locker and 9". They said that would net over 420 with stock rear and gears. I have float so I think 400 will be possible after some shimming.
