The idle completely stabe at 900rpm :

The drivability, I start from a green light and I ended cruising in 6th gear at 1100rpm / 41mph :

Just for the FUN, it was sunny today, temp was 77°, launched a Top Speed, my wife at the camera, we ended at 185 mph:

Great setup Christian. Glad you sweat the details to make it right.

511 rwhp cam specs are 236/240 .630/.610 111LSA (FTI Street Sweeper). Very similar to what I would spec (235/243 .646/.653 110LSA Donkey Dick cam). Awesome combination of parts.

Patrick,
I appreciate very much your comments, and for sure your story as well as Tony Mamo one with his ex LS-1 are showing clearly than the devil is in the detail.

I finally met Ed and saw the light at the end of my road.
Yes we went over all the small details that could disturb the efficiency of the main parts.

I have two questions for you here, more than questions I will say, please can you comment on:
First the drivability showed in the vid ?
Second, what do you think about the torque on this stock cubic engine?

Regards
Christian

The driveability looked good, but it was pretty hard to tell as many of your shifts were in the 2500 rpm range. I typically will shift below 2000 rpm. The 1000-2000 driveability window is always tough for big-cammed cars to nail and your seems to be superb in that area.

The torque is outstanding (as it should be). When you sweat all the details as you have, you will make outstanding power under the curve. Ed choses valve events like I do. We know that power under the curve is KING and peak numbers might make you feel like a hero on the internet, but they don't win you races. Congrats on assembling a winning combination!

Patrick,

Please take a closer look to the "drivability" video:
I CRUISE IN SIX GEAR AT 1100 rpm / 41 mph the last 15 seconds of the video, but I have logs were I did it for minuts, for fun, WITHOUT ANY BUCKING.

I am just surprised that you didn't notice it, that was a point I was picky with in my demand.

I don't know if the results I obtained are exceptional, but "streetability" or "drivability" is so close from stock.
That's all I want to share with you all !!!
Christian

I noticed the cruising in 6th gear at 1100 rpm. Very nice. An even better test of street manners would be cruising in 2nd or 3rd gear at the same rpm (like going through a school zone). Smooth cruising in 6th is pretty easy to achieve...doing the same in the lower gears is more challenging. Torque multiplication really brings out any leftover ugliness in street manners. I hope you understand that I am nothing but impressed with your results. You should be very pleased.

Drives like my stock cam car , definately looks to take off good even with the aluminum flywheel . How much tuning went in to get it like that ? Was it done on the street to fine tune it ? Killer power
