Default 475 rwhp PRC Stage 2.5 5.3l Heads, MS3 Camshaft, Fast 90 Results

We just finished up installing a Fast 90mm intake manifold on John's 00 SS that previously ran a LS6 intake & stock manifold. The car had previously made 458rwhp & 400 tq if memory serves me correctly.

Here's the mods on the car:

PRC Stage 2.5 5.3l Cylinder Heads
Magic Stick 3 Camshaft
64cc chambers (for clearance reasons)
QTP 1 3/4" headers
3.73 Gears
TSP True Duals

We Just Added:
Fast 90mm Intake Manifold
PTM 90mm Throttle Body
SLP 85mm Maf
TSP 85mm Lid

The car now makes basically 14rwhp over what it made with the ls6 intake manifold.

Hopefully I'll be able to get John to take the heads off for some decking & valve reliefs! With some extra compression, intake manifold porting, and a electric water pump I'm hoping to sneak up to 500rwhp.

aren't you running LS6 heads? what's your SCR? You could also have a look at your tune and see if you can adjust you A/F and timing in the rpm ranges up to, and including, your peak torque value. Jason should be able to give you a better answer but it's a couple of things to consider.
AJ

Edit: I just saw your other thread, I don't know what's goin on with your car, you have the same heads, but already have the EWP, so you should be making even more power then the car that is the subject of this thread, it may just be the difference in dynos, track numbers are what really count any way, so see if it performs well enough there.

ETP 215 heads 62cc and a cometics .045 head gasket + MS3 and you will be plus some!!! You could even go as low as a .040 cometics if you wanted to but I would check PTV clearance. I went with the .045 because I plan on going with a larger shaft mounted roller rocker later on.

Great numbers. These are the heads I want to pick up someday. Do you have any cam-only numbers or did you do both at once?
