Very nice numbers, I have a couple questions. Were the trick flow heads out of the box or do they have further porting? What headgasket and did you flycut?

I'm assuming that's one of your bigger cams.

Do you have any dyno results cam only using VRX2, VRX3, and VRX4?

Very impressive. This is getting to sound like a broken record, but in a good way!

The torque at 3500 rpm varies quite a bit from the C5 graphs. What do you attribute to the C5s being so much stronger in the low and mid-range? The LG Pro Long Tubes? Higher compression? More squirrel mods? Regardless, this is an extremely strong combo.

Once again, those heads don't seem to be having any troubles flowing up top or down low; that's a loooooooooong torque curve.

That's exactly why I plan on going with that same Head/Intake set-up.

THanx for all the compliments guys... To answer a couple of questions..

*The TrickFlow Heads are out of the box, no additional porting
*There is no need to flycut with the additional PV provided by the thicker TFS deck surface/ 13.5* valve angles
* Im sorry, I do not have results with any other camshafts right now... Most of the guys who are springing for the TFS heads want the baddest camshaft they can have to go with them.

Patrick... we actually completed a Z06 this morning and it makes more power under the curve than the F body, but they peak around the same #s.... I guess the Z06 exhaust/few extra bolt ons we were doing (IE lightweight clutch/electric waterpump etc etc) all made a few more ponies... Unfortunately we have not been able to duplicate the Z06 that made 521.... We have broke 500rwhp 4 times now with this combo with about another dozen or so in the 480s/490s....

Hey Ron It's Phil I talked with you a earlier about the vindicator for my 01 SS, I forgot to ask and you can shoot me a pm if you want about this. How much do yal charge for a tune, and instead of flycuttin .030 or .050 can I just use a thicker head gasket. Also will flycutting the pistons at .050 hurt my peformance when i go with a set ot TF's? or should i stick with .050

When I switched from dual cutouts to TD's out the rear, I noticed my car picked up a bit of low end and a little up up top. This was going from cut outs off of each collector (basically open headers) to an X pipe run over the axle.Top end HP stayed the same but I picked up a few FTLB's. The car drove smoother down low and picked up more overall power. This might make a difference since the vette has duals and and this f-body is still using a Y pipe
