STS Numbers
Just got the car dyno'd over at Haddad Motorsports.
here are some pics.
440/520 to the rear
Took it to the track the next day and ran 11.81 @117.6
I am getting a boost spike that is repeated every run around 3400rpms and being 467/713 to the rear wheels.
Dont know why im getting that spike. I also get the spike going into 2nd gear at the track and makes it feel like the car is relaunching :-) Its pretty crazy.
Very happy with the results. Could have gotten more but wanted to stay safe.
Only mods are the upgrades that you can buy with the kit and also a 3200 stall converter.

what were the conditions of the track with the times? Hot, cold, DA etc
Nice numbers...good times too. I have a friend with an STS TA (on the left)
He lives in Wa. state now...forged 347, 9psi...some other odds and ends. He runs up there 11.50 or 11.60 @126 I think. He may chime in. I don't know what his dyno was but those STS kits perform...no matter what their critics say.

Hey Mike,
Glad you like it, and yes we can still pull out more power from it. What kind of stall do you have, and the STR? If it is rated for 3200 N/A then that might explain the spike upon shift change and initial off-the-line starts. I think going to a smaller stall, or a turbo specific stall would yeild better results. Something like the Yank PYE3400 or so. Either way, it is a strong running car.

That headwind is probably taking some off or your trap right there...You need to go on a good track day and get some true numbers. Running in a headwind is almost as bad as going up hill LOL. Good luck getting her dialed in though. You just like David have better times in there...just a process getting it dialed in.
Riding in Dave's car on high boost with 4 people in pulled harder than my H/C/I SS with only me in the car from a roll... I could beat him in the 1/8th (barely)...killer topend though. Hurt my feelings from a roll bad...I am sure there is a video somewhere.

spike problems with an STS are quite unusual... do you have a boost controller or running off of a gate spring? The setups I have tuned off of the spring, I hav run an extra line from the intake back to gate for the reference, rather than the scroll of the turbo. IF you have an EBC, I'd look at it's settings first. TBH, outside of an EBC STS setup I tuned, I have not had one spike.
Regardless, you are in good hands tuning-wise with George
