A Noob's first dyno. Good, Great, or Awesome?
So, I know nothing about Dyno's. In fact this is my first itme in this section. I just wanted feedback on my results. Brian from PCMforless did my Tune. My mods are listed in my sig but, for these purposes it is essentially 2002 WS-6, 45,000 miles,PS headers, TSP/ Magnaflow catted Y, GMMG, K&N, MTI clearlid, P&P TB, started with factory tune. He was impressed by the numbers, especially the results before the tune. Since I'm just trying to learn the numbers side of this game what do you think?

You might want to change your SIG. Your TQ number is a result of that huge spike at the beginning of the run. Looks more like approx 365-70 rwtq.
You are going to get a million PM's asking how you got 35 more tq than hp
2002 WS-6: HP: 354.8, Torque: 391.9
Still, awesome to have more TQ than HP. Must pull like a *****.

Those numbers are STD not SAE.. SAE is what most of us around here are used to. STD will show higher power output than SAE. I would call the Dyno shop where you did your pulls and find out if they can give you the SAE numbers, then it would be a more fair comparason for what 95% of us measure are cars at.

Okay. I didn't realize there were two sets of numbers. I'll call to see what it looks like SAE. I'll also change the sig. It does seem to pull like hell. Irregardless of the actual numbers, I wish I had done the exhaust when I got the car in '05. It feels so much better, and the sound is awesome. I just wish I could lower the sewing machine tick.

I'd say you're right where you should be if you're an M6. The torque looks very impressive though.. Nice numbers none the less, but remember, every dyno is different and the numbers should be used as a tuning tool. Lets see some track times..

your mods are very similar to mine.. The numbers are solid.. The only thing is that whoever did that graph on the computer put your max #'s at the dyno spike which really isn't a number to go around bragging about.. See my dyno sheet in my sig for a better example.. -John
