Default Another near 600rwhp LS7 PRC heads Cam Combo!!

Guys we just finished another PRC LS7 head/cam car that made really good power! Look for it to get a electric water pump & break the 600rwhp mark very soon!

This car had
08 Z
ported customers heads STOCK COMPRESSION!!! STOCK COMPRESSION!!
TSP S Cam
Kooks Headers & X
Ported LS7 intake & TB
TSP Tuning

I'd love to see this car with some milling on the heads, this car could have easily out dyno'd my 605/535 #'s I bet!!

Enjoy!!

Good Lord. Good example of why it IS still better to go C6Z over the LS3 C6's.

I agree the LS3 are great engine and bang for the buck but once the modding starts you cant beat the Big dog LS7

Would love to see the bump in compression, and add the the EWP. Should add a nice chunk of power, and the added compression should bump up low end torque.

AWESOME Job guys !!!!!

building power all the way to redline, a little strange dip and rise from 6500-6800 though, any idea on what caused that?

If you had milled the heads how much would you have milled them? I can only seeing it being about .5 to 1 point of increase. That's at most around 12 rwhp and you'd probably have to pull some timing out. Don't get me wrong because I think this is a well thought out combo. I just think that you shouldn't put so much emphasis on the fact that it has only 11:1 scr.

Great numbers, congrats!

So what's an "S" cam? Not on the website, so far as I can tell.

The little bump in compression most go with definitely helps! Here's another with 11.4:1, and the LS7R camshaft!

Not quite that bad, but I'd say 13.5 at one point and 13.2 at another. 14 :1 would definately something to worry about in my opinion.

from 5400 to 5800 it looks pretty close, I guess if there is no knock its ok but that is leaner than I would think would make optimum power. could also be a wide band stuffed in the muffler and a small exhaust leak, I know there was some variance between what I was seeing at the collector and when the w/b the dyno was hooked to was seeing at the muffler.
