took out 3* of timing. 14.2 af 13.2 WOT if i remember right. not sure if my converter was locked on unlocked.

before the rebuild the car was boltons with a 78mm tb ported polished epoxied. with a 78mm air lid and stock maf. and put down 326.6 at the rear wheels. figured it'd gain more with the cam heads and other 85mm parts i put on.

Sounds reasonable for an unlocked Fuddle converter. They don't put down stellar dyno numbers, but they seem to 60' well.

Unless those cars you mentioned are running loosey goosey Fuddle converters (not 6 speeds), you can't compare dyno numbers. I sold my 508 rwhp motor to a guy with a 4L60E automatic and a Fuddle 3600 converter. Know how much power he put to the tires unlocked? 390 rwhp. He then replaced the converter with a Yank SS 3600 and put down 420 rwhp unlocked...a gain of 30 rwhp. Locked up, he made closer to 460.

I made similar power with an unlocked TCI, car went 12.0s at the track pretty consistently though on 315 nittos...so don't get down, dyno numbers mean nothing with an auto, especially unlocked.

It is all in the details. What was your timing. Not I pulled 3. A/f need to 12.9 to 13.0 all the way. If you want big numbers.
