Curious about setup
I was thinking about a set up today, and I was wondering what the opinions would be with what I've come up with. as far as rwhp guesses
TFS 215 heads..worked by Vengeance
all supporting bolt on's
t56 with 4.10's
346 ls1
fast 90/90 also ported
and the polluter cam for extra torque down low
anyone think this could squeeze out 500rwhp
just for ***** and giggles here, maybe upcoming project..thanks for the input

well that is def inspiring, good to know it can be done. hoping to get close to the 500rwhp and then hit it with a 150 shot, figure thatll be plenty for a street car

OP: 500rwhp is tough to get out of stock displacement. dont be disappointed if you dont make it, especially since you will be going through a 12 bolt, but i would imagine you'll be very pleased in the end.

yeah when i say 500hp, Id be plenty happy with anything in the 470-490 range which I do think is doable, also thinking that if I get pistons flycut, and mill the heads with a little extra compression it would help attain the 500hp mark, and allngn_c5 if i got close to your numbers, i would be estatic

Thanks alot bro,
You have to remember too that my drive train is pretty dyno friendly.
3.42 gears in a stg III DTE built rearend
Exedy twin plate clutch w/ lightweight flywheel
Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft
I'd have been more impressed had my motor made the same numbers without the parasitic loss reduction that a ud pully and ewp provide.
With that being said the car trapped 123.6 mph into a nice headwind. She's got legitmate power. A set of 3.73's would've helped out a lot at the track but I mainly drive on the street so I opted to stay with the 3.42's.

yeah i understand that, this car will be a full street car..only on the street, and I've be debating on running somewhere in the 3.90-4.11 range, but with a 6 speed, I can see the 4.11's being great for off the line, but I dont think the difference between that and the 3.90 would be a huge difference

We are going to begin closing all the "guess my numbers" threads in this section. This is a dyno results and comparisons section. Guessing games and hypotheticals should be posted in the Gen 3 internal section.
