What kind of system have you devised to get water to the heat exchanger, I know a few guys who have a sump style system mounted in a cooler lol ? Also how are you lubricating the track runners ? Dish soap ?

timmy, that is a good one. jay took it while starting us!!
APU, we dont do anything. we run them a few times hen let them sit for a bit. doesnt take long to cool them down when its 15 degrees or less out side. mine will go from 80-90 degree water temp 3-5 runs full out and be around 135* i let it sits for 20 min or so its back to 90* as for slides, we try to run back where we all start from theres a little bit of ripped ice and its just enouph. yes we have had the slide weld themselves up but no big deal.

no sir, i race and ride as much as i can depending on weather. i grass drag it the second the ground gets a bit solid, from that, the first lake, pond, stream frozen within 4 hours, im on it and will ice race untill the trails open up then im 75-85% trail riding and the rest i race, ice and snow just for fun. once the trails open we will usually do 300-500 miles per weekend. day trips if we cant go away will usually be ice racing, some times we can hit some trails if they set up good. most trail riding is junk untill you get up into or past laconia area. i ride my sled the way i race it. i dont change anything. grass to ice i change the clutching, jetting and gearing because the grass has tons of traction and we only race 660' so i need to make some adjustments.
