Default Anyone Using Cartek (Garwood,NJ) Read This & Watch Video

ViciousZ Corvette out of NY Took his Car to Cartek to have it built and was given 2yr 24,000 warranty. From video he had lost oil press and they did rebuild the motor again but still didn't put the parts into the motor that are on the bill and they didn't even bore the motor to the spec of what was contracted.

$$$26,000 dollar they took from this guy <Alot of money>

Good job Cartek!!
Take care of your customers or Word spreads real fast.

Pass it along guys.

if he was going to use parts other than what was on the original reciept he should have 1. called customer to see if that would be ok! 2.replace what was ruined with the EXACT part! 3.be a man and honor his warranty no matter the cost!
sorry to hear you have spent the amount of cash that you have previously.that really sucks!

I've spent thousands of dollars at Cartek and I am not the least bit surprised by this video. Looks like nothing has changed.

Yes they can. My air/fuel ratio was 16:1 when I got their heads/cam package.

I'm not on anyone's side but...
LS7 block is FINISHED to 4.130 does not mean a 4.130 piston, you need to have .005-.007 of clearance between the piston wall and the piston.
The lifter issue is another story, I have had Morel, Crane, Comp and GM's. I can't tell the difference.
