Good start! I will say I think the HE is a nice mod, but doesn't add much of anything other than coolant capacity. I've logged a lot of temps and haven't seen much of a gain.

Save money for a twin screw! When you have over 700RWHP on pump gas and it drives like stock, you'll never want to get out of it.

Ya I was figuring on no real HP gain just buying down my heat soak time so I could have more time to get more good passes in at the track... Instead of sitting and icing...

You are tempting me to pick up a GT500.

I just came back from the Shelby factory in Vegas. The Super Snakes look so nice, only if the package cost half of what it does. I can't see spending > $70k on a car that 'may' be collectible someday. For some reason, none of the special edition Mustangs seem to hold there value over the years, so I don't see the Super Snakes holding there value either.

Awesome numbers Sean! Definitely need some tires and then let the ET's drop. You gonna get it back up to the track this year? How do you like the car compared to the vette?

I think it's because there are about 500 different "special edition" mustangs every year, lol.

Congrats! My father has the same mods... I bet the car would go good with a set of tires. Right now it's a joke unless your looking to lay 400' of rubber.

Sean, i just put on a set of nitto NT05's on the rear of my car and surprisingly they hook up really well! they are real sticky tires, the only downfall is i heard they dont last a long time...
Are you going on that poker run tomorrow?

YA tires are a must went 12.3 with 2.2 60's at LVD it was 100 degrees out. Good tire, cool weather, and a clean pass I would like to see 11.5 or less....????

As to the tires...Like you said it's a waste...Car has 447 miles on it. Look at the rear tires you would think it had 12000 miles on it....LOL

You're the second person I've heard say very good things to say about those tires hooking up well. I'm glad they make them in a 19 that will fit my stock G8 wheels and I plan on giving them a shot on the rear since there isn't a drag radial that fits.

Different cars....I like the vette for different reasons than I do this car. I will tell you one thing I have already had more fun in this car than the vette.

Honest opinion= MODDED GT500 is better than my 07Z51 but it isn't a New Body Z06...
End all be all would be a Z06 but that is not in the budget and is short a back seat...
Glad I chose it over the New Camaro....
