Default Tommy "Talon WS6" @ ATCO Thursday

Hey- it was nice bumping into Tommy "Talon WS6" at ATCO last night!!!

He's one of the nicest guys I've ever met on these boards.

He had two cars (Fast Red WS6) and a classy Black Convertible T/A that were running real quick last night.

Tommy will be there tomorrow- but I had an interview today and I start work tomorrow @ 8:45 am, so no ATCO for me tonight.

I noticed he's banned.. can't that be reconsidered, as he's good people- like many others on this board.

BTW- here's a few old shots of my Firebird Formula (which I reall miss!)

I was wondering what ever happened to Tommy. Didn't realize he was banned? What's up with that?

Hay guys ya i had to make a new name and keep a low profile (no waves)

Its a long story that i rather not bring back from the dead.

Bob it was good to see you at the track it brought back memories of the early days when everyone went to the track to have fun.

Jay and Pete had a blast running their cars thursday night Pete went an 11.66 in the vert and I ran Jays TA to an 11.63@81 on the brakes and an 11.40@89 OOPs got a talking too about that one no big deal they were expecting a 10.xx pass.

The race on Friday never took place the other car never showed so we made our own grudge race.
Jay ran Rob all night on motor he set his new personal best of 11.63@118 NA not bad for his second time out in the new set up with 10 passes under his belt.
Will be running all year and see how much we can chop off before taking any weight out Jay wants that 11.5 pass bad i think he'll get it in a little better air.

These guys realy enjoy hanging out and helping each other get further along which make it fun again.

The wife and daughter are both doing well. Alaina is getting use to the track each time i take her there to watch and relax.

She now says Car's (VRooommm) Sounds so qute coming from a 21 month old.

Hows the family doing?

You get any interest in running your car or are you just keeping it a cruser.
Keep in touch this is getting fun for me again.

Yeah, I understand the vroom vroom thing. Gavin calls it Daddy's hotrod and points to it everytime we go in or out of the garage. He's 2.5 y/o now and a little terror sometimes, but melts your heart other times. Our daughter is now almost 11 months old and boy does time fly.

As for the t/a. It's a lift queen right now. I would run it, but I'm sure it would be a joke on the 19s and konis/bmr lowering springs. One day down the road I'll race it again, but it might have left and right turns.

How old are your girls now.

Brien they change your life big time but i would'nt change a thing. If your looking for a little RR come down here to Millville the 2 tracks here are bad *** with both left and right turns

Hell ya i remember im always willing to help even some one i did'nt know at the time.

Congrats on the low 11's that 395 sounded bad ***. Not too many people build outside the box i like it.

I got back into it with some good friends that push me to have fun at the track again. And brake my stones for me to get my car done after all the time its been down.

Hey Tommy!

Great you are still on here.

I started a new job so I was unable to go to atco- but I guess it didn't matter, the guy didn't show up. ha ha That tells you something right there.

Ya i been keeping it low key so not to **** off the ban happy admins.

The race would have been fun if it only took place but i guess our bite was meaner then his bark.

The Formula looks sweet its just as clean as Pete's Vert its a shame you didnt get another one i would have loved to make that pass in it we talked about.

Good luck with the new Job

I was there Thursday night. both those cars looked really sharp. I talked to the guy with the vert. Nice guy, nice car, and thanks for the info about the roll bar - it looks real nice.
