Guys I understand that he is on vacation. I called and heard the message.

Then I was on here surfing and noticed that he had just posted a little while earlier so I figured I would ask if he had them in stock. If he did I would drive up Monday afternoon and pick one up.

Instead I just got call Monday like my machine said.. It was a simple question. Could have said yes, no or not sure call me Monday..

Me being a small business owner also I figured it wasnt a big deal as I am always working even on vacation.. Especially in this economy..

Well, since I was seen posting the best thing would of been a PM.If I jumped at all the calls,e-mails ect I would of worked another 60hr week.Yes it is bussiness but I really needed a week off both my jobs.

To answer the question,no I do not stock them.We drop ship them and they take about 5 bussiness days to get.

I understand where you are coming from, maybe a pm would have been a better idea but I didnt think it was a big deal seeing as you were posting here and you are a site sponsor.. Sorry!!

The thing that ticked me off was the response.. No response at all would have been better. I feel like you were saying "I know but I am not telling you until Monday"
And if that is the way it was meant I will take my business else where??

what buisness do you own cause if you treat customers the way you want to be treated I want to be a customer of yours and bend you over like the rest of your customers lol. I know when I am on vacation work is furthest thing from my mind especially when I am spending time with my family that I don't get to see all the time cause I am working.

I'll tell you what, I do own my own buisness. I am sure for Slowhawk that this is both a job and a hobby. So even on vacation its pretty easy to pop on here and see what his friends or up to or whatever. He is being nice and accomodating now(while on vacation) but as a buisness owner yourself you should understand how much we value our time away from it.

I understand where your coming from but Dons right, PMing him would have been a better decision.


Things to know about don before you work with him, and he should come with a disclaimer. He's very non-chalant about things. So it can seem like hes indifferent or doesnt care about gaining your business. Thats just the way the guy is, and its not till you bring your car there and he puts in extra hours to get your car running right and the car runs the numbers at the track that you realize this guy really cares about getting your car on the road, and doing it without spending more money than you need to.

My answers are very direct.Some people like it,some don't.I'll probly stop by the shop later and call back all the people that left messages like I have done all week.I'll be more than happy to call you back and go over your setup to get you the right clutch. If sciff5 is right and that is just the way you are that is cool with me. But not knowing it I took it as you couldnt give a crap about my business..

Guess that is the draw back about the internet and text messaging.. Cant really tell ones intentions..

I have only heard positive things about you on this forum so that is another reason I was taken back.

Any way I will give you a call and we can try to get this car sorted out..
