Detailing Maroon car #2 (07 Cobalt SS)
Been a slow summer for detailing for my friend and I. Between vacation and family functions neither of us has had much time to even wash our own cars!
We got out of the rut with this 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS with 40k miles. A friend of ours picked this up as his daily driver and wanted to give it a bit of attention.
Overall the car was in decent shape, paint had a faded appearance, there was some heavy marking around the driver door shut (someone’s ring is my guess) and various scratches around the car, and of course the regular spiderwebs in the paint.
After 16hrs of work the car looks better then new and ready for continued duty as a daily driver. Most of the heavy scratches were removed, those that weren’t were severely diminished, and a nice LSP combo applied the owner should be able to keep up with over the next few months to prepare it for winter duty.
