Shops for gear set up
I'm looking for a shop that I can trust to set up a set of rear gears for me. Something in the northeastern pa area or within a hour or so driving. If anyone has advice please relate. Thanks

Yeah I tried pm him to and got no response. I also emailed him. And when I sent a text to that phone number they replied that I had the wrong number. Oh we'll screw him. I'm gonna go with rapid motorsports. They got a great reputation with our cars and mike seems like a great guy. I also tried race proven motorsports and there prices are way too high. So I sent Fran a pm and got no response as well

I just read your PM and we would not be able to do the gears in one day. You would need to drop it off.

There is a shop in Honesdale, SST Performance. I had them do a differential swap in my Silverado. The rear makes no noise and the price probably would have been great if I didn't run into issues, like a pitted axle......
I just moved back up here and at least local shop wise it was the 4th place I tried, the other 3 didn't even want to look at the thing, way different from where I was living at in FL.

So what is a fair price to pay for a gear swap. Labor only. I have received quotes from $300 to $500. I was expecting between $300 and $350. What you guys think?

I should clarify that with the differential swap a set of used 3.73's went in, everything is quiet.
Hard to say, I've had gears done as low as $200 for labor only. That was in FL though.
Place in Honesdale had claimed $250-400 depending on if problems pop up or not. In the case of my truck problems showed up.
