If you want to stay local go to Vette Doctors in Amityville. For me i travel from Long Island to West Chester, PA to have Complete Street Performance work on my car

Sup fellow Long Islander...so I dont have much local experience but I did have a great experience twice at Fonse Performance in southern NJ. I would vouch for their work any time.
Best part is I would drop of some work, spend a few days in AC, pick up the parts on the way back home....hopefully a little bit more $$$ in my pocket.

don't know how far it is for you, but Mahler Engine Service is top notch. Rob is the owner and builds some bad *** motors including LS!

Just got off the phone with Rob. Nice guy sat there and talked to me for like 20 minutes. Sounds like a great shop uses parts i like. Gunna probably bring my motor there.

Mike from MCP Competition Engines is in Lakewood NJ. MCP is currently inside Tune Time Performance's shop. Give him or them a call. You may recognize his name as the guy who built RobZ and Joe Dedona's motor to name a couple. My 416 LSA was built at around 15k miles. Car has 54k now and it's a daily driver.
