Default Pinks Here I Come.

Long story short. I am heading down to M.I.R. to participate in the 2 Hour season finally episode of PINKS. It will be filmed this Sunday. I thank allot of the sponsors on this board for there help and generosity. I still have a 7x15 inch spot left on the front two fenders for anyone that might want to make a donation or gift certificate towards helping me with the cost of the car.

The whinning is annoying, but it wins races. If you ask for a lot of lengths you're going to have to back it up with some reasoning, a.k.a. whining. Best of luck to ya anyhow!

Good luck man. Takes some ***** to put your car on the line. I'd be playing with my rev limiter settings to hold it back to keep them in the dark then turn it up later. They always hear when you let off or pedal but they can't hear **** if your rev limiter is set a little lower

I have thought about a car for that show.. couple thign s I'd if I were you. I'd have your nitrous system.. but one thign I'd do is hide a bottle, a 10 or 15 lb'er in the car somewhere somehow.. and put a 2nd (or 3rd) stage that's hidden like dave's moneymaker is, or in your case route it into the other system with the hidden bottle, so there's 2 bottles feeding teh setup, throw a remote opener on it and have the hose in there when they think you don't... or have a 2nd stage tehy don't know about.

Something else.. when they ask if you want to see the other car, make it intresting, tell them that you don't want to because there's no point.. then they won't see what you're running either. WOuld make for a much more intrestign show. The rev limiter is also a good idea, or shut the nitrous down towards the end of the track. Only problem with the limiter, is that if you don't have enough to win, then you have nothing to do to step it up in mid run. Another thign to do, put the brake lights on a toggle switch, once you have the car staged, turn them off, so you can hit the brakes during the run to slow the car down too if need be and noone will see the lights come on, and at the end of the track, just flip the switch to turn them back on so that they will see the lights on then, so they won't know you're doing it.

Also, no matter now gutted you think your car is.. take more weight out of it. Think if it like this... you're putting a car on the line, if you are willing to do that, then you can't care about it too much.. gut/hack that thing as much as possible!

Good idea about putting the brake lights on a toggle switch. I like that!
