Default Another Thanks Slowhawk/Dez Racing thread

Drove the hawk around yesterday, for the first time, with her new found power. Oh man, the car is awesome, I can't say that enough . The ability to melt tires in first gear with ease, revving to 6800 rpm's (very rapidly I might add), and best of all the throw-you in the seat effect at will due to the peak 70rwhp/36rwtq increase moves me from the category of eye candy with some power to a raging monster that means buisness that demands absolute respect. The exhaust note is a slightly deeper tone, but not louder. Everyday driving around town is as before, but put her in neutral and throw a rev or rev past 3 grand, and the car is monstrous. It ends up I have a decent motor, while dong valves, and blowing 120psi into the cylinders, it was found that there was almost no blow-by ... and with no pcv system, my oil burning days are now behind me.

Not too down about putting her to bed this time as with the new headers/cam combo I get to enjoy a whole new animal when she wakes up again.

Awesome work Slowhawk : After I prep the car for bed, I'll drop by with a couple cheesecakes to share
