Default Good Exhaust Shops in CT ????

anyone know of a good, reputable exhaust shop in CT??

I need to have my stock mufflers cut off, and new flowmasters and tips installed, lined up correctly, and welded. New hangers for the mufflers will also have to be fabricated.

I don't trust a Midas/Monroe/Meineke type chain place... want someone who will do quality work and actually care about it and my car.

Looking to get it done this week.

The place I've been in touch with already is my first choice, but they're very busy right now, and as mentioned, I'd like to get it done this week - so if they are unable to get to it, I'm just looking for alternatives. (I don't think they're a sponsor, so not mentioning the name...)

TIA!!

-Lew

p.s. - I tried doing a search, but was getting no results/errors...

yeah, I hear ya... but they ARE on the high side... $410+ for just putting on 2 mufflers/tips is kinda steep... considering I just bought the tips and mufflers myself for MUCH ($100+) less than they were gonna charge me for them...

anyway, I got a price from another race shop, more reasonable - but they don't have an opening for a couple weeks, cuz they're so busy... but I didn't want to really wait that long... but will if need be....

Well good luck with that. I had to pay alot of money to fix my busted as Corsa from a botched job from someone who worked at a Mineke place, I didnt like paying it but its better than the kit would be brand new.

As parts, everyone gotta make a profit and that shop is open to using your parts, you could always call and ask.

Installing LT's most perf can do, but FEW do fab up and bend piping and set a system is a different story, mine does all Stainless (upon request) and TiG all the metal. My Y pipe on my Dynatech system was made incorrectly, they added piping and made it turn the way it supposed to go.

Being that said, I more then understand, I live in a budget and after this job and my 1400$ rear end job (different sponsored shop), I am broke as a joke and will save any money where I can.
