World certainly did one thign right, the water jackets in that look 10 times better then what the lsx has, certainly should be a strong piece with that type of design. Now if they could have just came up with the same design of utilizing 6 studs per cylinder like the lsx, so the heads would be all interchangable (not saying the world heads are bad, just that it would be nice if the same bolt pattern could be used with both) they'd hands down have the winning piece. Still looks great though!

LOL Don.
There has been much discussion between the LSx and Warhawk blocks, not being interchangeable who came out with what first, etc. You can read further about that in other threads. Yes it would be nice to have the ability to interchange but from my understanding it was the Warhawk that debuted first but obviously the LSx did not follow the same pattern. Either way, it's pretty kickass the heads are real nice too so I don't mind having to use these beautiful heads, lol.

JL: Yes. I will take pics with the tape off when Nick starts his port work, so you can see deck surface/water jackets. We have not worked with the Warhawk heads yet, they are already a pretty large chamber so we are going to go in and just touch their work up and make it as smooth as possible. Nick has made pretty insane power before with his additional port/polish work on our AFRs/Intake Manifolds/etc.
We are building this motor for a customer with a 02 EB Z06. He wanted to go with something as rigid as the LSx but not give up the weight in the vette. Should be a pretty sick build, stay tuned for more...

That's what I am intrested in seeing. From the looks of it world did the one thing that GM did not do with the lsx, substantially decrease the water jacket size. If that is the case, maybe having that stud poking into the port won't be the end of the "world"

Is he going to use it for street/open tracking/road racing, or is it mainly going to be a straight line/drag race setup??

Drag race setup. I will take pictures of the heads later on this week when Nick starts the porting. They are a work of art, that should explain any questions that you guys have.
