Yea I miss Abe too...
He is doing well out in OK....

I sold the car for a women and boy was that a mistake...
I did love her and wanted to marry her but in the end she didnt except me for me..

So I got rid of her and bought a 1 owner 87 30K miles GN
Sold that a year later and got the WS6..

The HAWK was some much fun,it had every option,ac and power steering too.
It ran Mid 10's on 17in. Hawk wheels and Dr's...

The Hawk From Hell was a real honest 10 Sec Street car and I shouldve never sold it..
It went to Ohio and Atlanta and still ran 10's with the push of a button

It was clean wasnt it..
ZAINO BABY

It wasnt a LT4 but I almost bought a LT4 Hawk but backed out of the deal..
They were too mucho coino...

The kid that bought it off me destroyed it
I think Strope Speed screwed it up,they didnt know how to tune DFI or the T-Com
Last I heard he pushed the pistons out of it and it got sold again

Yep but the way I had it setup it was alittle $$$
U gotta understand this was a 3900lb car running 10.60's with all the creature comforts

The DFI controlled the N20 and the T-Com controlled the trans..
They worked in harmony.

I would load the brake to 1800 (VIG MULTI 3200) and the DFI would control the rest. The T-Com would lockup the verter at 95MPH and the car would run threw the traps right about 6500...

The nitrous NEVER nipped a plug, coughed, sputtered or caused any issues...
Those big *** 17in wheels on 275's fronts and the 315's back were a thing to see..

Now its passe...

The car had one of the 1st 4in Mufflex system built with its hidden tail pipe.
U woundnt believe the people that use to look at it back in 98...

The Car sounded sooooo good too and it was a very mild 383 by todays standards.
Jay Fisher built the longblock for me and it never ever missed a beat all Callies,JE Pistons,Branywine Ported LT1's along with a little 220ish 560 cam

All N20 and DFI tuning by Dale Cherry...

The 1st stage (90HP) came on right out of the gate, then it turned off and the 2nd stage hit (180HP) and I rode it out to the end...

Car ran solid 11.80's@113 NA
Nitrous passes ranged from 10.80 to high 60's at about 126

I gotta stop talking about the car,I miss it
