too loud for etown
hi i went to track friday not really knowing what they consider street muffled and i got one pass and got thrown out.i have true duals dynomax bullets.do they consider 1 chamber flows as street muffled can i pass tech with them.

As long as they "look" like chambered mufflers and aren't too loud they will pass.
Dynatech splitflows (straight through design) are what a few of us are using and passing the decibal requirements.

I don't think they are any quieter, but when tech looks under the car they see an oval, seemingly chambered muffler and don't say **** to me.

Well they broke my chops right before my first round of eliminations after watching me go by them twice before during time runs! And my car is quieter than most of the other cars with mufflers......but thats the rules I guess. The only thing that confuses me is that I pass the decibel reading too. I have run there before with no problems. No biggie though.

I thought it was funny how loud some of the "race" cars were at Pinks All Out. I was so worried about being too loud that we choked my car up so bad but yet everyone there sounded like they had open headers lol
