Tampa area local hangout? I recently moved near Tampa and was wondering where is the local hangout for mostly american cars ( I'm not into the import crowd) on Friday or Saturday night's. GM High Tech is down here so I'm hopeing there is something good.

Not a hangout, but loads of american muscle at the Plant City car show, third sat of the month, from 4 - ~ 8. Right in downtown Plant City, been going to it for years.

Quaker Steak & Lube every Thursday night across the bridge in St. Pete
3rd Saturday of the month 7am-?, DuPont Cars-n-Coffee at Dupont HQ in St. Pete
Some USF car meets thrown in there but ricers show up.

they are lambo, Ferrari, Porsche, and newer vette owners, when hasnt there been atitudes. I am going just to look at cars I have never seen or have no chance of ever owning. I could care less about douchey owners. Plus access to the museum is free.

If you go, see if an older guy is there with a dark maroon/beige leather int. 60 vette conv. He lifted the body and has complete C5Z underneath. Phenomenal job. He had custom emblems made that are "Z060" that are very cool.

Man its been so long that I had to look up your feedback to see what I sold you. LOL. My memory is not what it used to be. Hope all is well Chris. Any hot spots up in Orlando? I'm only a hour away.
I love the look on the unexpecting exotic car owners faces when my 6000+ lb truck leaves them off the line hard.

Ricers are not bad. Some of their cars are very fast, and they pretty much keep to the parking area behind the building.

I would say about 5:30 to 6:00 but better to get there early if you want to park in the main lot with everyone else. Today there was a good turnout and the lot was pretty full. I think it will pick up even more now that the rainy season is ending (I hope)

I got ants in my pants. I think I'll head up to the Orlando area cause a friend from CT is visiting up there. If anyone knows of anywhere that might have some car stuff going on up there, just post it here please. I'll be up there around 10 tonight. I'll check this post when I get up there.
