Default OSW This week?

I swapped out my LS1 intake for an LS6 yesterday, so its back to the track to see what I gained. I'm pretty much done with bolt-ons now, so I'm hoping to be in the 12's now.

Is anyone else going this week? Or is it still too hot out.

I'm down for going Wednesday, or Friday, doesn't matter to me. Both of my roommates will be there as well (lightly modded ????, lightly modded LS1 Formula).

Also, I'll have a buddy out there with a camera, so if anyone is going and wants their runs recorded, let me know!

If Slomofo goes, I might tag along. This is my 2 weeks of freedom between semesters. If your car doesn't go 12's, I would run it into the wall or get it tuned.

Haha, yeah. I thought I'd be closer to 12's before the LS6 intake, but I'm still around 13.2. Maybe its the mid-length headers?

Do you ever bring the Camaro in your sig out to race?

It's not the mid lengths. Ever log the car to see how rich it is? The Z has no insurance and is at the bottom of priorities. So nope, it sits collecting dust.

I haven't logged the car, but I'm sure the air/fuel mixtures aren't ideal. I plan on getting a tune on the dyno within the next month or so, just gotta make some money. Been spending a bit on non-car-related projects.

I've only had the headers on for a few months, which had claimed to have a fresh ceramic coating on them. the coating looks to be flaking off quite a bit already. I knew it would come off eventually, but I didn't think soo much so soon. Is it normal for it to flake off?

I think I am going to wait till the cooler weather comes. Plus I need a set of slicks before I run again.

The coating from MAC is crap. Bad prep will also flake off.

Hah, I'd say you've definitely got the advantage when it comes to short-times.

LOL, I just noticed my original post with the "????". Is the ????/Neon taboo on this board?

EDIT: hah. I give up.
