Default Head gasket for twin 70 build

Bought a set of L92 gaskets from JJ's auto on ebay and got 6.0 MLS gaskets... not a very good seller, not real friendly either, so be careful... Anyway... I am still debating going with L92 gaskets or Cometic 4.030 .040" gaskets.

This will be on a 408 ls1 with Je -28cc pistons, and ported #317's with polished chambers (74cc). Will be running twin T-70's, looking for a peak of 1000whp (setting for around 800) in the ol 67 bird. What gasket would you guys run?

I figure I'll be somewhere ballbark 8.75:1.

I was planning on running just the stock MLS gaskets and my CR was going to be around 8.8-1

Fireball - Yep, 5-layer, and that's why I was trying to get my hands on a set. Good for something like a 4.080" bore or something, only running 4.030, so I'm looking for something that is going to seal like a son of a bitch in case I want to crank the boost for a ridiculous, get kicked off the track pass...

Yep, many are running the 5-layer MLS L92 gasket from GM with great luck.
I believe kp got almost a full season out of the same set of gaskets.
These are the same I used in my build, but I am not up and running yet.

Right on, just have to get my hands on a set! Very reassuring. Camaro - that is going to be a bad *** setup with twin turbos! Gonna run some serious ET's with that sucker, I'll tell ya that! I'm looking for something streetable (not a giant cam, and sure as hell not solid roller again), that I can rip down the track on a 10.5 tire with my caltracs.

I'm running them on my 4.010 bore LS2 and they've held 1200+ RWHP so far
