you really need a new radiator if you want to do it correctly. A fan is only a band-aid. There is not enough surface area in the stock radiator to reject the heat.

I have a 4K mile car with the 9" fan and all shrouding with a D1, if you idle alot or drive at slow speeds (min airflow) it will run hot, maybe not overheat but it will be 230 plus in 95 degree heat. Been there.
It one thing to take short trips in the car and another to be caught in traffic on a hot summer day. Turn the AC on and all bets are off with the ATI fan shroud, doesn't even come close to dealing with all that heat.
