Need help putting together a twin turbo kit. Please help
Ok I have officially left the nitrous world behindand decided to go FI. Now I need some help getting the right parts for my kit. I am wanting to go with twins. Here is what the motor consists of:
Low comp 370
Stock 317 heads (for now)
vic jr. with elbow
Morel lifters
jesel rockers
Still need to get a cam for it.
Now I have no idea what parts go with what.
I was kind of thinking somewhere in the twin 61's area.
I am looking to make 800+ of full boost.
Basicaly if I went with some 61's, I have no idea what size of wasegates or BO to get.
I would appriciate any help and please keep in mind I am a total newbie to FI
Thanks

Well since you will be running 2 "smaller" turbos 38mm wastegates will be fine and a 50mm bov post the junction should do you there. Tial makes good units for both. As far as turbo size goes I think the 61's will get you there but I dont know if they will be the most efficient size. Maybe someone else can chip in for that info.

38mm gates may not be enough depending on how low you what to run the boost. keeping in mind that you're in Cali like me, if you plan on driving the car on pump gas you'll be limited to a conservative level of boost, but it also depends on the setup. A pair of 44mm's would probably be a better bet.

I am going to just piece together a kit. 67's sound good to me.
I dont necissarily have a budget in mind, but I dont want to spend more than say.... 10k.
It will be driven on the street, but not exactly a street car. I am more building it for the track, it already has a 9" with a spool, wolfe anti roll bar, and rod end suspension so it wont be real street freindly.
Thanks for all the replies guys!

$10K is doable but I'd say that's a good start price. I was looking at doing twin 67's and kept coming up with $15k-$20k ball park. Unless you can find a used kit or weld your own you're gonna be looking at a custom kit. I'd say $8k minimum there. Don't forget all the fueling, tuning, etc that adds up quick too. If I was to do a twin kit I'd save and save and get a speed inc in house kit. Around $15k out the door and one of the nicest kits you'll see.

Yea, I am gonna save a little bit of money, I have a place that can get me all the piping and bend it for me and I can weld it.
I also already have a VERY stout fuel system and I have Hptuners so I will be tuning it with the help of a very good friend.
