Default Which electric fans?

I did a search and it seams that the flexalite 240 is a popular combo. Problem with that is the width is too wide. I have two ebay fans on their and I tried them as pushers and pullers with the blades flipped the proper way. They worked better as pushers. They are 12" fans and they hang on the tanks

I was under the impression that a puller would be the better option. The width of the radiator in between the tanks is 22 5/8". The temps go down when I'm driving, but they creep up over 210* when stopped, not a fan of that at all.

What are you 16" single fan guy running as far as temperature in street driving? I really don't want to buy another setup of fans and it not work. So I'd like to only do this once more

lol I don't mind spending the money to get it right, just need to know which ones to get.

Does someone have the measurements of the stock fans Length, width, and depth? I may just throw some stock fans on there if I have enough room

Hey bud I was going to run a stock radiator with a single V6 fan as it was oriented to the pass side. I just ended up running out of room for my particular setup. So if this sounds like something you wanna do then it's definitely for sale, lol.

I have no damn idea. I saw it on Ebay and I was like, man that'll work! But it didn't. Hell I might work it after I cut the support and get my Griffin in.

I just measured my stock fans as best I could (kind of a PITA when they're still on the car ) I came up with an overall width of approx 25", height of 16" and depth of 5.5" all including the shroud. Best I can measure through the shrouding, the stock fan itself is 12" diameter with a depth of approx 4.25"...the fans sit approx 1.25" from the radiator.

Some guys have trimmed the stock fan shroud and got them to work.

The best aftermarket fans I have dealt with are Perma-cool brand. #19008 comes to mind, I just put two on this turbo vette and with just the one running (puller) the car stays at 170 degrees with a T6 turbo inches from the radiator. I have used these in pairs on 4-5 vehicles I have done and they have always worked well. The 12" ones move around 1700 cfm a piece.

Good to hear, I'll take a look at those.

I found Flex-a-lite 240 fans to be a popular choice, but I can't find long term results of how they perform.

are you talking about this fan:

Kinda off subject but what radiator cap is that? I need to get one for my griffin. Also are those ebay fans the ones with the straight fins or are the curved?

I'll measure my fans and see how thick it is. If you don't mind some fab work and trimming, I guarantee, the fans I'm running will keep anything cool. They were from summit I'll find the part number. The way they come, they're too wide. You have to cut the shroud in have and trim some meat out the middle. Screw them back together and cut out holes for the hoses, and trim the shroud down to fit the rad. perfectly. They turned out really good, I was suprised myself. I can let my car idle all day long in the FL heat and the cooling fan will just kick on for a minute, then kick off.

Oh and by the way, they rate them in the 4000 cfm range.
