Talking some new bests tonight (added videos)

made a few hits at cecil after fixing a stupid problem in my BS3 tune file

first hit. used my 5.26 tuneup...blew the tires HARD at 40'

2nd hit...backed down to a previously 5.4x tuneup....

1.40 60'
1/8 5.307
mph 146.42
then it layed over due to fueling issues and I legged it thru the quarter
8.108 @ 179.16

3rd hit...2 more psi at launch...

1.336 60'
then it rich backfired at top of first gear (went 9.1:1 or richer!!!)
5.314 @ 143.60

http://home.comcast.net/~tfranklin55...runs_small.wmv

think we've got something to work with now for the next event this Friday... clean up the fuel and boost maps and it should go low 5s

i see some really good times and such, but when it comes to tunes and the numbers involved, im still a noob at understanding what it all means...what do the numbers mean? what do u look for in a good tune?

holy hell...was just looking at my driveshaft speed logs...up to the backfire on run 3...it was up 3.3 mph everywhere compared to the 146.4 mph 1/8 mile pass

that pass was on its way to ~150 mph

at my weight (3500 lbs) thats about 1836 FWHP

the little LS2 that could

run two overboosted some due to my new found power...it maxed out my map sensor at 30.1, but the ramp rate was rather slow.

run three...27 psi but it had a faster ramp and that sumbitch was marching

Glad that change worked out for ya. You should feel how hard they pull at 34psi. It's time for you to get a 4bar on that thing. Congrats!

Wow.....150mph is nuts. So doubt it will do it. The compressor map still has more in it.

Did you change any hard parts? I ask because of the comments about the tune being off, backfire and laying over.

no...

had a test parameter turned on in the tune (that wasn't supposed to be turned on) that was holding the motor back up until last night

Who's 4 bar sensor do you use? I've been looking and can't find one.

We got them from BigStuff. Comes with a new plug end becuase it's a round pressure sending unit. It has a 1/8th NPT end also.
