Talking It's ALIVE

Got the car to the dyno last Friday. Only had an hour on the engine and the tune needs a lot of work, the A/F was in the bottom 10's. The dyno was with only 15psi of boost. I cant wait to see what its like with another 6-8 psi.
I was really happy with the intercooler. The increase in inlet temperature from when I turn the ignition on before the car starts until the end of the runs was only 5 degree's. As you can see the coating is really doing a nice job also. I did make a couple of passes the next day. Nothing special I was leaving really soft and only running 10psi. I found a lot of little things that need to be worked out. I hope to have the car back out in a week.

Very nice! I'm suprised the torque isnt higher for being a turbo setup and all.. Still, awesome numbers on 15psi!

one reason the torque is low is because I came in so slowly with the boost.
I was surprised the dyno show it nosing over so soon. It doesnt feel like it noses over. I ran it to 6900 on one of the passes and it still felt like a freight train with only 10psi.
Here is the link to the build thread all the details are in it.

Nice numbers man! Looks like my buddys dyno graph.. He still has to figure out the boost controller. That will help with bringing in the boost faster and more torque right?

Awesome Ray! I think it's hilarious your making a 1/4 mile pass with a 91mm turbo and STREET RIMS, lol. But it does look like a 28" tire in the back, kind of like a super sleeper look. Seems like your build came together relatively fast, way to go man!

A lot of long days have went into the car, and many more re needed. The tires are 390/45/17 M&H drag radials, they are 30" tall

what motor do you have ? with another 6-8 psi there would be a big probability of lifting heads on a 4 bolt cylinder head, unless it is o ringed.

anyway congrats on the numbers.
