i also have a 35th and looking to by sts. i will be watching verry close, hurry and get it done i have a rough idle cam in mine, wonder if the tuner that comes with the kit is going to be able to make it run with the turbo, are all intercoolers from sts go in that position.

The intercooler from STS bolts to the front of the factory bumper support.

I hate to say it but the area where the bumper cover where the intercooler sits where it says camaro is worth 20 degrees in lower temps if you remove it and insert a ss grill. I left mine exposed and the funny thing is there is not a single rock chip or bent fin. look at my pics. Sweet ride also.

The intercooler is a CXRacing 31x12x3 from ebay it required cutting the front impact bar in order to mount, otherwise you can buy the one from STS that requires no cutting but that runs about $1300, As for the grille, it will be getting cut next weekend and im ordering an SLP "SS" grille and going to custom cut it for better airflow.Ill try and update this with detailed information. I dont recommend using the tuner that comes with these turbo kits, especially with your cam etc.. try getting a dyno tune from a local shop they will tune a lot better IMO..

1300 doesn't just pay for the intercooler. It also includes all of the needed pipeing and hardware to install the intercooler with the rest of the STS turbo system. 1300 seems like an old proce too. I think the cost is under 1000 now.

Man, I commend you 35th LE guys for modding your cars. I dont have it in me to do such, so I'm selling mine for 18k. I am a fan of my trap door mod on my 90 Firebird but I would never do that to my 35th!!

Post some vids when done!!!

Correct it does also include the piping. 1300 is what sts quoted me last week. So I got this intercooler with piping for 200shipped

Ha ha I didn't even think twice. To me a car is just a car and metal well. ... Is metal when I was done with the fuel pump I cut a piece of sheetmetal and color matched the paint the secured it with self tapping screws and rtv. Was a pretty clean job. Ill pot some pics later.
