Default The hardest what will it run thread EVAR!

The turbo awd full size van is going to the track tommorow night.

This is the hardest what will it run thread ever cause well its a van, its awd...and its in the abyss of track et's in las vegas and its august of all things.

The van is a 2004 5.3 awd chevy express that seats 8. It has a bb72 turbonetics turbo, z06 cam, 317's (stock), electric fans, 10.5 vig with a rossler 4l80e conversion. It has the tow package and 3.73's with 20 inch wheels and 275 tires. The lightest it might run at is about 6200 lbs, but we will probably run with 2 to 4 to 6 people, so the weight might be 6800-7200 lbs. It runs a 98 ram cummins intercooler.
Its running with no meth, on 10 psi (spring only) and can leave on 8 psi pretty easy, but it has to pull the tall 2.48 first gear with 3.73's and a 30 inch tire. I ll be impressed if it goes a 2.0 60, but am really expecting 2.1- 2.2.

If I hang out second gear, it will finish in second probably too. Timing is low and conservative cause its 6500 lbs, and its rich now with the cutout closed at 10.2-10.5. I expect it to lean out with the cap off, but running in stealth mod is fun so it may run in stealth all night.

Temps will be around 100 degrees.
A bone bone stock vette, f body, gto, etc....will probably run 14.0's and SLOWER....

So, what will the van run?
cutout closed (through the oem muffler)....
and cut out opened..........

Its 2200 ft, but the da will probably be in the 4500-6500 ft area. If were lucky it will be in the 3500 ft area, if we get "good" air.

FYI it's 2pm and 100 degrees right now and our DA is 5540. DA will probably be between 4000-5500 tomorrow night since it's supposed to be hotter.

In other words. Your mild Camaro that runs 13.0 @ 108 near sea level runs 14.0 @ 101 here (actual calculated correction).

If any turbo vehicle needed a 2 step, that van would be the prime candidate.

I'm guessing mid 13's.

Good luck!

lmfao @ 6 people riding down the 1320......and probably still beating most of the cars out there.....just sick.
