Default Turbo Specific Cam Info Needed***Vendors Step In***

Looking for ideas on a TURBO specific cam. What makes it so and why?

I do know that exhaust velocity has a lot to do with spool time. So by increasing the velocity I should spool faster.

Looking as to what would be the absolute most efficient cam for a TT 346 setup.

Let the discussions begin..........

Thanks for the link. My biggest question however, is what makes a turbo specific cam?? Is it the split duration? the LSA? a combination of all the above?

Currently i have a 346 with custom built front mount ( similar to HPT )TT stage 5 60-1's. The cam I have now is a NA cam, 25x-25x @.50 62x-63x 113 lsa cam

What would be more efficient and why? ( Im one of those guys that has to understand WHY something operates the way it does before I put it in my car ) that way I can try to optimize everything the first time around. ( dosnt allways work out that way though...LOL )

Thanks

the most important part of a turbo cam is the intake valve events, secondly is the overlap,so to answer you question-everything makes it a turbo cam.

these cam specs are what i have found to work best in turbo motors that make great power while not losing driveability and quick turbo spool.

these cams make so much low end power that alot of times you won't even know it has a turbo-virtually seemless from na to boost. We had a twin turbo 427 that made 1000rwhp idle nearly like stock and make 6 lbs of boost just pulling out on the street at part throttle-within a second
