im wanting to do my own turbo conversion but i know nothing about the turbos themselves there is a gt45 with a t4 flange on ebay but im not sure if this would be ok or is there a better turbo out there thanks

I'd suggest reading here, a lot. You'll probably find anywhere from 67-76mm turbos, t4 flange, with an a/r between .81-1.00 being the most popular and working the best. There are different variations of gt45 turbos, if you find a larger one, you might be ok with it. Make sure you get all the specs on that one before purchasing. May want to list specs here for better advice.

Buy one from a reputable sponsor on here. Id stay away from anyone on EBAY that uses phrases like "super competion turbo and super spooling"

Master Power 70 is hard to beat for what your looking for.

Master Power t70 was the first turbo I had on my LS1 5.7 in my truck. They are the best bang for the buck of any turbo I've come across. Good for close to 600rwhp on a mild LS1 and spool VERY well.

look away from that ebay china made junk

at least get some brazillian made "junk" thats acutally proven and very good/ price point where you are looking ( on the lower end of the spectrum)
