Critique my turbo setup please!
Im setup for dyno tuning on Dec 19th but Im hoping to get the car dialed in as best I can before that. I am going to be getting HP Tuners Pro and i just got a Dynojet Wideband2. I need a small amount of advice on a couple things, heres the setup Im running:
00 Ls1 Trans Am ws6 w/ T-56
LS6 intake
60# siemens deka injectors
stock pump(i think I need to upgrade this)
Masterpower T70(front mounted, intercooled)
Tial 38mm WG(5.8psi spring)
Steed Speed Inline BOV
eBay hot piping
Stock MAF and MAP(I need some info on SD and 2 bar MAP also)
Ls6 oil pump
Double roller timing chain
Being as Im just running about 6psi on stock internals, I figured the MAF and MAP will be fine for now but Im more worried about the fuel pump running out. I just need to figure out this stuff prior to my tuning date so I can get a base tune on it and work out all the little kinks that can arise from a build liek this. Thanks!
BTW, if you think something needs to be added/changed can you give me an idea of where to buy the part :-)

No pics but I had the front of the oil pan tapped. I can get a pic when Im off work. I think Im going to run a single walbro 255 for now, I dont plan on going crazy with boost anytime soon.

its getting capped off, running open WG. Im going to be running a breather on the driver side valve cover and an evacuation system to the exhaust for the forward most pcv port on the passenger side. The other ports are getting capped off.

what kind of valvesprings you have ? what kind of pushrods ?
what kind of motor ? ls1 ? lq9 ? lq4?
what heads ? 317 ? 243? 241 ?
you plan on using meth ?
you will defiantly need a fuel pump. and i would seriously consider the double pump option. i went with a single racetronix with a hotwire kit and will be pulling it out for a dual setup. boost is very addictive

LS1. All internals are stock. Heads are stock. Not planning on using meth until my motor can handle more boost, being in alaska i dont have to worry about IAT lol. Im only going to be running about 6psi to start with. Going to place an order to TSP for their hotwire kit with a Walbro 255. Also need to pick up some gauges :p

Launching!
Might wanna rethink that setup. The exhaust evac system is neat but it's completely useless if you're also going to vent to atmosphere via breather filters. You'd maintain zero vacuum and you'd be drawing unmetered air into the crankcase.

What would you suggest? Another member on here did a full write up and had great success with it. I suppose I could run 1 port off each valve cover to the exhaust which would create a constant vacuum in the crank case. Is that better?
