Default Bigger SC, TT, or Turbo

Well right now I am trying to decide which way to go. I am looking for a little more power and something else to play with really. Car is my 1999 TA WS6 with Forged 347(9.6:1CR), P1SC kit(3.5" IC), TH-400(3800 stall), 60 lb injectors, Racetronix pump, Alky control kit, Full exhaust, and Moser 12 bolt w/3.73's. The car has been set-up the same since 2004 except for the M6 to th-400 swap was done in 2007. The car dropped a half a second off its 1/4mile times from the tranny swap!

Anyway I was just looking at other cars and figured that in the course of the next 8 months or so I would figure out what to do with this car when move back to the US. The P1SC has been good but I am wanting something new and with a bit more power. I would like to stay with FI since it is what I have grown to like and what the car is set-up for.

The car is mainly a weekend warrior that I like to take to the track whenever I can. I am going to continue running the Forged 347. If I go bigger SC I would like to go with a F1 Blower and FMIC. Turbo kits are also an option because I can see by going with an F1 is going to be about the same cost as a turbo kit. Plus I could simply de-install and sell my P1SC kit also... Any ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Single turbo. You could sell your supercharger system and use it to pay for most of(if not all plus some) the piping on the turbo kit if you can DIY.

where can u get a single turbo setup for the price of changing your head unit and adding a front mount? I would go with the f1a procharger setup very reliable u wont lose ac as u would with a manifold turbo setup and u can still use your current headers.just easier since u already have the procharger setup.

See I think a turbo set-up would be around the same price. FMIC set-up would run $500-800. F1A is around $3000. Then I would need to get a new J bracket since my other one is kind chewed up from when my idler pulley seized up once. Then belt slip would still be possible, but no belts to contend with when you go turbo. I just see the price adding up with with either thing so might as well sell the P1SC kit to someone and use that money to put towards a new kit of some sort. I will have to look around and maybe I can find a better deal on an F1A. Decisions, decisions... I have time to look into this so I am just throwing around some ideas first.

How much is a used procharger setup worth? 2500 or so? You can do most of the turbo kit with that.

MPt70- 550-600$(new)
FMIC...800??? Go on ebay and get the same one everyone uses...31x21x4 for 180$ and all the piping might be another 200.
Then figure another 750 or so for all the cross over piping and flanges(again sourcing your own parts)
500 for geniune tial BOV and wg(cheaper if you get knock offs)

so right there...

600
380(lets say 400)
750
500
________
2250$ right there.......now add another 250 in misc parts and theres your 2500....so it can be done...

Swap out your pulley assembly to the eight rib and you'll probably make around 12 psi of boost with your P-1SC. You'll be at 600 to 700 at the wheels.

All of that with an FMIC would run around 2K. I can't really see putting all of that into this kit. Good option something to think about for sure.
