Default Can't find a good dished LS2 piston/rod combo(stock cubes)

Maybe im not looking in the right area...but where can I find a good piston/rod combo for my LS2?? Mainly looking for a 4.005 since i was told going to a 370ci isn't exactly safe for these blocks and I want it to be able to maintain around 850whp....also using 317 heads.

Many of the sponsors over on the left can help you out. Bob from EPP comes to mind first.

4.010 is fine on a LS2. I ran 1400ish hp all of 2008 with zero issues. I pushed it closer to 1700hp in 2009 and the liner finally let go...

.0025 of extra meat wouldn't have saved it

If you run a longer rod such as a 6.125 there is quite a good selection of pistons out there scoggins caries a few different brands to select from. http://sdparts.com/catalog/ls-gen-ii...mblies/pistons

Everything I find is either 4.030 or for a 4.000 stroke.

Do you have a specific brand you want? There are tons of 4.005 pistons out there for stock stroke.

Around -10cc +/- some. My heads have 71cc's so I dont want to go crazy on the dish.

I'm running the Wiseco KX444055 -11cc dish in a fresh Gm 6.0l block with a 4.005 hone. Hitting around 9.6:1 with Patriot LQ9 Stage ll's milled .030 and GM MLS gaskets. I got them from SDParts with rings for around $700.
